The pizza is topped with a mascarpone and cream sauce, pears and blue cheese for an ultra simple and gourmet pizza at home!
Ingredients for the dough
To prepare the dough, we suggest starting at least 8 hours (ideally 48 hours) before baking. For instructions, refer to our easy dough calculator . We recommend following the instructions for Neapolitan-style dough.

Blue cheese and pear pizza
Ingredients
- ½ cup mascarpone cheese (125ml)
- ¼ cup 35% whipping cream (60ml)
- 1 pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 ripe (but firm) Bartlett pears, thinly sliced
- 8 oz blue cheese, crumbled (227g)
- ⅓ cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts) (75ml)
- 2 cups of arugula (500ml)
- Balsamic reduction to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, cream, salt and pepper. Spread between the two uncooked pizzas;
- Slice the pears thinly;
- Top each pizza with pear slices, blue cheese and walnuts;
- Follow the cooking instructions according to the Dough Calculator recipe;
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with rocket to serve;
- Drizzle with balsamic reduction.
