The assembly time for a web order is 1 working day.

If you see no activity upon receiving the tracking number, or if the carrier indicates there is no data, please wait 24 hours. Once the carrier has performed the first scan of the package, the information will be recorded and available.

However, the tracking number allows you to track your package in real time directly on the carrier's website.
We typically select the carrier offering the shortest delivery time. In Quebec and Ontario, transit time is usually 1 to 2 business days. For Western Canada, transit time is usually 3 to 7 business days.

How to use your pizza oven?
What temperature is needed to bake a pizza?
For a Neapolitan pizza , the hottest possible, around 900°F, for a cooking time of 60-90 seconds.
For a more topped pizza , cook at 500-600°F degrees for 7-8 minutes.
How long does it take to preheat a pizza oven?
The preheating time required is approximately 20-25 minutes for most of our ovens, unless otherwise stated.
The preheating time may be longer depending on the outside temperature and wind. If it is windy, position the oven with its back to the wind to prevent flames from escaping towards the back of the oven.

How to best use your outdoor pizza oven depending on the weather?
If it is cold, you will need to allow more time to preheat the oven.
During the coldest weather (where temperatures drop below 0°C), Christiana suggests storing the baking stone indoors , or bringing it inside before use so that it reaches room temperature. This way, you'll avoid thermal shock that could damage the baking stone.
If it's windy, you'll need to strategically position the oven to avoid drafts that could extinguish the flame. Alexandre suggests placing the oven away from the airflow.
How do you maintain a cordierite cooking stone?
Caution: Never turn on the oven if the stone is cold (bring it to room temperature beforehand to avoid thermal shock)
The surface of the stone will inevitably darken (which gives it a smoky taste that we love!)
Stone cleaning:
- Let the high oven temperatures burn off any excess food.
- Use a brush to remove stubborn residue directly in the oven
- Wait until the stone is at room temperature before cleaning or handling it (Caution! Handle with extreme care to avoid breakage)
- Turn the stone over and cook on the other side (recommended option)
- If necessary: wipe with a dry cloth to remove dust (no water or soap!)
- Never leave the stone soaking in water or put it in the dishwasher.
Becoming a Top Pizza Maker - Tips and Techniques
Do you have a good pasta recipe?
Yes! We have our famous dough calculator to guide you.
What are the ingredients needed to get started with your pizza oven?
We recommend Caputo Classic Blue Typo 00 flour , which has the fastest fermentation.
San Marzano type tomatoes since they are THE reference for the true taste of Italy (Christiana recommends Zia Rosa or La Carmela ).
Spicy or unspiced olive oil is a must for any self-respecting pizza!
Help! I'm having problems with my oven…
Why doesn't my oven reach 900°F?
It needs to be preheated well in advance: about 20 minutes and longer in cold weather.
Another question to ask yourself: where are you taking the temperature measurement? When using a thermometer, you aim for a baking stone at approximately 700°F.
For a wood/charcoal/pellet oven, you need to constantly feed it. Our little trick: add a handful of pellets just before putting the pizzas in to get a high temperature.
Can I leave my oven door open to bake my pizzas?
For wood/coal/pellet ovens, the door is necessary during preheating to reach the correct temperature. For optimal results, it is best to keep the door closed during cooking.
Why is my pizza burning or not cooking evenly?
The oven needs to be preheated well in advance, about 20 minutes. It's important to leave the pizza in the oven for about 20-30 seconds, then rotate it every 15-20 seconds. This isn't the time to go fill your glass of wine and take your eyes off the pizza!
Next, you need to take the pizza out, rotate it 90/180 degrees, and put it back in the oven. The pizza peel will be your best friend for rotating the pizza without having to remove it from the oven.
Be careful not to overload your pizza or put too much sauce, especially in the center of the pizza!

But beware! The arrival of spring heralds the high season.
If you're looking for a specific model, we strongly recommend shopping in advance to avoid any surprises! This way, you can be sure to receive your oven when you need it and fully enjoy it when it really matters!
Can I use my oven in winter? If so, what are the contraindications?
You will need to allow extra time to preheat the oven. During the coldest weather (where temperatures drop below 0°C), Christiana suggests storing the baking stone indoors, or bringing it inside before use so that it reaches room temperature. This will prevent thermal shock that could damage the baking stone.
Pizza oven fuels
What is the best fuel?
Alexandre quickly demystifies the main advantages and disadvantages of outdoor portable pizza oven fuels.
The portable outdoor wood pellet pizza oven:
Advantages: economical to buy, explosive heat, no need to lug around a propane tank or the cable that comes with it, possible to experiment with different flavors of food pellets.
Disadvantages: more expensive with each use and difficult to cook other foods since this fuel burns faster and is less consistent.
The portable outdoor propane gas pizza oven:
Advantages: simple, quick, and seedless cooking for a perfect crust every time: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Enough to delight even the most discerning palates!
Drawbacks: the less traditional aspect. It's true, the taste isn't *exactly* that of an Italian nonna 's wood-fired oven, but it's not far off. That said, in addition to having to lug your propane tank around on your outings, you miss out on the enjoyment that comes with controlling the fire and its heat for a truly "typical" experience.
The portable outdoor pizza oven fueled by wood and/or charcoal:
Advantages: Fuel your oven with wood and/or charcoal for a truly authentic experience . This way, you can enjoy a slightly smokier pizza worthy of the best pizzeria in Naples.
Disadvantages: it's difficult to relax when you have to constantly control the heat.
The portable outdoor multi-fuel pizza oven:
Advantages: Test all the cooking options. This oven will satisfy your pizza-making talents! Fuel your oven with wood and/or charcoal on evenings when you want to make pizzas like a pro, and on evenings when you really want to relax, it can be connected to a propane tank. Are you familiar with the Bertello 12" ? It's even possible to use all these fuels at the same time!
Disadvantages: more expensive to buy, the propane adapter is sold separately for some models.
TL;DR if you want an easy, hassle-free and quick result, opt for propane like the Koda 12 or the Koda 16 .
For those who are undecided, multi-fuel models like the Bertello 12 or the Ooni Karu 12 G will give you an even more authentic feeling , while also giving you the option of connecting your oven to a propane tank on those evenings when you really want to relax.
Do I need an adapter with propane ovens?
The ovens come with everything you need to connect to a 20 lb gas cylinder. For a 1 lb gas cylinder, we sell an adapter .
What flavor do you recommend for pellets / wood / charcoal?
Unlike a smoker where food stays for several hours and absorbs the flavor of the fuel, a pizza only stays in the oven for 60-90 seconds. Alexandre therefore recommends using food-grade fuel. And what about the flavor? That's for you to decide if you can taste the difference and find the flavor you're looking for! Everyone has their own taste... or rather, their own fuel!Accessories and equipment for pizza ovens
What is the best pizza peel? Which peel do you recommend?
For the pizza maker looking for ONE peel, we offer a perforated peel .
For the pizza maker who likes to equip himself a little more, we recommend the following combination: a wooden peel (because it sticks less and slides the pizza well in the oven) combined with a rotating peel (to rotate the pizza directly in the oven).
Find all our pizza peel models here.
What accessories are included with the oven?
Accessories are sold separately, except for certain ovens. Full details can be found in our oven buying guide .
Do we really need an infrared thermometer?
For wood/charcoal/pellet ovens, Alexandre strongly suggests using an infrared thermometer to accurately monitor the temperature and achieve a result worthy of a Neapolitan pizza. For propane ovens, Alexandre recommends it for greater precision.
Maintenance and storage
Maintenance tips for Ooni, WPPO or Bertello outdoor portable pizza ovens
To properly maintain the exterior of your oven during peak season, Alexandre recommends protecting it with a protective cover (covering it once it has cooled down, of course).
During long periods of disuse or on rainy (or snowy!) days, he recommends placing the oven under a small roof or storing it indoors to avoid any risk of damage. Pizza is precious!
To maintain the inside of the oven, as it reaches such a high temperature, it is technically self-cleaning.
But it is still preferable to brush , scrape or vacuum up the remaining debris, especially for wood/charcoal/pellet ovens in order to remove the accumulated residue from your last pizza night (avoid the burnt taste the next time you use it).
Regarding the baking stone, Alexandre advises removing it *only when necessary* to avoid any accidents (like dropping it and splitting it in two, oops!) and, above all , never "wash" it with soap . It can be rinsed under running water if needed.
Yes, the stone will darken, but that's perfectly normal. It's what gives your pizzas that smoky and authentic flavor!
