Alex once spent his Friday preparing his dough at the same time as a customer's, just to assist them every step of the way. Because for us, it's Friday pizza a casa. We'll explain that below.

Nice to meet you! We are Christiana and Alexandre, a young entrepreneurial and foodie couple in our thirties.
Together, we're thinking big! We are already the largest distributor of pizza products in Quebec, and we also want to become the largest in Canada. Lapizzashop.ca is our way of sharing our passion with you: pizza in all its forms and facets.

Our little pizza story 🍕
Christiana was born in L.A., but moved to Quebec at a very young age. Her fondest memories of Californian trips? Landing at LAX airport and going directly to LAMONICA’S pizzeria for her first meal with her family.
Pizza in California is not like New York or Italy: it is much more eclectic, not at all purist, with toppings like smoked salmon or avocado. For Christiana, pizza is a symbol of joy, gathering, sharing, and creative freedom.
Alex has also always loved pizza – his favorite dish. For him, it is precious, as it accompanies us throughout our lives. Whether it's a move, dinner with friends, or a need for comfort food, you're never disappointed.
It was at Bottega in Montreal with Christiana that the realization hit him. "OK… THIS is real Neapolitan pizza!" He enjoyed the experience so much that he became interested in the art of dough. Gradually, from failures to successes, his experiments became more and more conclusive.
Meanwhile, a new tradition was born: Friday *pizza a casa* with Christiana's *famiglia* (or, for those in the know, the six-person pizza dance!). Friday is sacred—gathering, experimenting, being present in the moment, creating with your hands... Plus, there's no need to sacrifice your tastes; everyone can choose their toppings, from classic Neapolitan to eclectic Californian. That's the power of pizza!
Alas, a problem arose: specialized pizza products were very (very) difficult to find, and delivery times were far too long. In fact, there were simply no experts—only generalist sites, or companies outside the country.
That's where the idea for Lapizzashop.ca was born 🔥

Now, Friday pizza a casa nights have become a tradition bigger than us. Our customers tell us about their evenings, the fun they had, their pizza successes and fails. Because yes, that's part of the adventure!
Together, we improve and live the pizza life as one big family. We are truly blessed.
We don't claim to be great chefs. We're just two pizza fanatics and we devour (yup!) everything written on the subject. We've made so many mistakes! But now, we can say that we make pretty good pizza. And it makes us so happy that we humbly want to share the same joy with you.
