Description
The Fontana infrared thermometer measures your oven's stone temperature without contact, in a couple of seconds. It's the tool we use to know exactly when to launch a pizza — not too early, not too late.
What sets it apart: Neapolitan cooking calls for a stone between 800 and 900°F. Without a thermometer, you guess. With one, you know. Point the laser at the oven stone, the LCD screen displays the temperature in under 2 seconds. No more pizzas burned on the bottom because the stone was at 950°F, no more soggy dough because it was at 650°F.
If you take pizza oven cooking seriously, this is the first accessory we recommend. It's also one of the components in the Gi.Metal Professional Line Kit and the 5-piece Tool Kit.
