Fontana's commercial entry point. NSF-certified for restaurant use, 441 industrial stainless construction, four 12-inch pizzas at once. Built for daily commercial cadence without stepping up to the Prometeo. The kind of oven you put in a food truck, a counter-service pizzeria, a hotel patio bar.

The Vulcano is the entry oven in Fontana's commercial range. Built for restaurants, food trucks, caterers, and hospitality operators who want a real Italian pizza oven without stepping up to the Prometeo. 441 stainless steel construction, NSF-certified, built for daily commercial cadence.

We recommend it if: you run a restaurant or food truck at moderate volume, you want Fontana quality at an accessible commercial price, your menu includes pizza without being focused solely on it.

Choose the Prometeo if: you operate at high volume, you cook 8 pizzas at once, your menu is mainly pizza-driven.

Choose a residential model (Mangiafuoco, Marinara) if: it's for home use, even intensive, and you don't need the NSF certification.

What kind of wood for commercial use?
Dry hardwood only: maple, oak, beech, fruitwoods. For commercial, plan for regular supply (an evening service can burn 15-20 logs). Never treated or softwood.
Are the Saputo stones worth it for commercial use?
If your concept is pure Neapolitan at 900°F in 60 seconds, yes, absolutely. Saputo stones are the reference in Naples pizzerias. For New York-style or mixed bread/pizza cooks, the standard stones keep up.
