Description

The Futuro 4 Pizze sits at the top of Alfa's home range. Four pizzas per batch, 83,000 BTU, a semi-professional chamber, and a flat stainless front drawn to fit into a set rather than dominate it. This is the oven you choose when the outdoor kitchen is a real project.

Under the shell sits Heat Genius: HeatKeeper firebrick made in Italy, which takes and gives back heat well past the lava stone you find in mass-market ovens, double-layer ceramic insulation that keeps the outside cool to the touch, and the patented Full Effect flue that rolls hot air back over the pizza instead of losing it up the chimney. It reaches 1000°F and holds it batch after batch.

This is the oven for big gatherings and complete outdoor kitchens. If you're cooking for six or eight, the Futuro 2 Pizze gives you the same fit and the same bake for a lot less.

Our advice

Go with it if you host large and the oven is part of a complete outdoor kitchen. Four per batch in a semi-professional chamber, with a front that lines up with your other appliances.

Look at the Futuro 2 Pizze instead if you cook for six or eight. Same fit, same bake, and a price gap that matters.

What we'd suggest: plan the delivery. At 312 lb this oven arrives on a pallet and takes two or three people to set. Tell us about your access before you order and we'll work it out with you.

Maintenance and Precautions

Day to day

Let the oven cool, then brush the floor with a brass brush. No soap, no water on the brick: the heat burns off residue on the next firing. Wipe the stainless shell with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner.

Winter and protection

In our Canadian climate, keep the oven covered between uses with the Alfa cover. For winter, store it under shelter or leave it outside well covered and up off the ground.

What to avoid

Do not run it wide open on a cold oven the first few times. Bring the heat up gradually to break the brick in. Never use abrasives on the floor, and never move the oven while it is hot.

Why we love it

We like it for what it lets you hold together. Four pizzas at a time, the Alfa bake, and a front that doesn't wreck an outdoor kitchen you spent months drawing. It's the quietest oven in the range and, oddly, the most capable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question? We're here to help! Call us at 1-888-606-7499

Contact us
How many people can this oven feed?
Four per batch on a 31.5 x 23.6 in floor comfortably serves around fifteen. The brick recovers its heat quickly, so you keep going with no dead time.
What's the difference from the Futuro 2 Pizze?
Capacity. The 4 Pizze has a noticeably wider chamber, more power and more weight. Same front, same technology, same fit in an outdoor kitchen.
What does the Futuro sit on?
A solid, heat-resistant work surface, or the dedicated Alfa table. The Futuro line has no rolling base the way the Moderno and Classico do: it's Top only or Top with table.
How does delivery work for an oven this heavy?
At 312 lb it ships on a pallet, curbside. Line up two or three people to place it. Give us a shout before you order if access is tight and we'll look at it with you.
Can I cook with wood in this oven?
Yes, with the Alfa hybrid kit made for the Futuro 4 Pizze, sold separately. The part number is specific to the Futuro line, not the same as the Moderno and Classico kits.
