Alfa's Classico, scaled down. Two pizzas at a time, 1000°F, and the stainless dome of a real pizzeria oven.
Description
The Classico 2 Pizze is Alfa's traditional line, brought down to the size of a terrace. A hemispherical dome, a stainless steel front, the look of a neighbourhood pizzeria oven without the footprint. Turn the dial, and about twenty minutes later you're at 930°F (500°C) with a Neapolitan out in 90 seconds.
What sets it apart from the Moderno is the all-stainless shell and the deeper dome. Underneath, it's the same Heat Genius technology: HeatKeeper firebrick made in Italy, which stores and releases heat far better than the lava stone or ceramic floors of mass-market ovens. Add double-layer ceramic fibre insulation that keeps the heat in and the outside cool, and a circulation system that rolls hot air back over the pizza instead of losing it up the chimney.
This is the one we recommend when space is tight but you won't give up anything on the bake. A city terrace, a wide balcony, a corner of the yard. And the day the ritual of wood starts calling, Alfa's hybrid kit turns your gas oven into a wood-fired one. You choose by the night.
