Fontana's original wood-fired oven, sold continuously since 1978. Dual chamber with convection, 45-minute preheat. For pizza, bread, roasts, and everything else wood does well.
Description
Fontana's original wood oven, in production since 1978. Dual chamber: fire below, cooking above, with forced convection. Three shelves, trays, an interior light. Honestly, calling this a pizza oven undersells it. It's a full Italian wood-fired kitchen oven. Pizza is one thing it does. Bread, roasts, slow cooks, it does those too.
Handmade in Mantua, Italy, since 1978.
Fontana built the first metal wood-fired pizza oven in the world. Forty-five years later, the same family still runs the shop. The Gusto has been in their lineup the whole time.
