Maintenance and precautions for Gozney ovens
- For outdoor use only.
- For wood/charcoal-burning models, do not place hot ashes in the bins. Allow the ashes to cool completely before disposing of them. Please use appropriate containers for such waste.
Stone maintenance
- Coloring: the surface of the stone will inevitably darken (which gives it a taste smoky that we love!)

Cleaning: Does your stone need cleaning?
- Let the high oven temperatures burn off any excess food.
- To use a brush to remove stubborn residue directly in the oven
- Wait until the stone is at room temperature before cleaning or handling it (caution! handle with extreme care to avoid breakage)
- If necessary: wipe with a dry cloth to remove dust (no water or soap!)
- Never leave the stone soaking in water or put it in the dishwasher.
